New Zealand: Mosque attacker Tarrant to face charge of terrorism

In New Zealand, the attacker of the Christchurch terrorist attacks, Brenton Tarrant, will face charge of terrorism alongside the fifty counts of murder for the attacks.
He will be charged under a terrorist act on Friday (June 14) on appearance before the Christchurch High Court.
This is the first time that such a charge has been brought in New Zealand.
On 15th March, over fifty one Muslims were killed and dozens others injured in shooting in two mosques during Friday prayers.
