Pakistani Mango demand rises in international Market

The Pakistani mango farmers and exporters are successfully achieving the standards introduced by European Union countries by virtue of the government's support.
According to a spokesman of Punjab Agriculture Department, demand of Pakistani mango has increased, which has resulted in enhanced exports earnings.
He said Punjab government has initiated a project to tackle fruit fly problem through non-traditional techniques.
He said huge funds have been allocated for training of farmers to apprise them of techniques to kill fruit fly.
