ISLAMABAD: (APP) Pakistan Tehrik-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan has strongly condemned the aggression and violence in India-Occupied Kashmir, and the lackluster response of the government of Pakistan.
In a written statement, Imran expressed grave concern over the lukewarm response of the government of Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif which he said was just limited to a statement by the Foreign Office and a briefing to envoys of several countries.
He said that it is shameful that there was no strong political condemnation by the Prime Minister which exposes the reluctance of the government to take any strong and clear position on Kashmir. Imran Khan also criticised his political adversary JUI-F’s Maulana Fazl-ur-Rehman and questioned the silence of the Parliamentary Special Committee on Kashmir which is also headed by Rehman.
