MQM submits resolution in National Assembly for establishing 20 new provinces in country

ISLAMABAD: MQM has submitted a resolution in National Assembly for establishing 20 new provinces in Pakistan. The resolution was submitted by MQM’s members Rehan Hashmi, Sajed Ahmad and Mahboob Alam in Assembly Secretariat.

 

As per details, MQM demanded in its resolution that the process of establishing new provinces should be completed through referendum.

 

On the other hand, PTI has decided to support MQM resolution with a condition that Provinces will be established on administrative level.

 

PTI sources said that new provinces are necessary in Pakistan on administrative level. PTI parliamentary committee meeting will be held in Islamabad for in detail discussion regarding MQM resolution.
