Cabinet approves LNG, POL trade agreements with Oman, Italy

ISLAMABAD:The federal cabinet has accorded approval to signing of an Inter-Governmental Agreement between Pakistan and Oman for supply of liquefied natural gas and POL products on government to government basis.
The meeting chaired by Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi in Islamabad also approved signing of Inter Government Agreement and Letter of Intent on Cooperation in the field of LNG between the Government of Pakistan and Italy.
It accorded approval, in principle, to Anti-Terrorism (Freezing and Seizure) Rules, 2018.
The cabinet directed that the process of filling up vacant positions of the heads of organizations in various ministries be expedited.APP
