The Qamber police have started making arrangements for the shifting of incarcerated PTI Senator Azam Swati to Sukkur as he is to be produced before the Islamabad High Court tomorrow (Thursday).
Sources have divulged that police are making arrangements to shift Swati to Sukkur from Qambar as the PTI leader is due to appear before the Islamabad High Court tomorrow.
He will be taken to the federal capital on a flight from Sukkur airport.
Sources further revealed that the police also submitted a report regarding cancellation of FIRs against the senator to the relevant courts in Sindh.
The lawyer who submitted this report informed that the FIRs registered against Swati in Wara, Naseerabad, Larkana and Kashmor were cancelled on the directions of the Sindh IG police.
He further said cases against the PTI leader were also quashed in Qambar Shahdad Kot and Kashmor Kandh Kot. He said the report was submitted to the judicial magistrate and civil judge Naseerabad court.
Swati was supposed to be presented before the judicial magistrate and civil judge Naseerabad today after completion of his three-day physical remand.
There were as many as four cases registered against Swati in district Qambar Shahdad Kot, Larkana and Kandh Kot Kashmor.
On Monday, the Sindh High Court barred provincial police from arresting PTI Senator Azam Swati in additional cases while also seeking details of the cases already registered against him in the province from Sindh Inspector General Ghulam Nabi Memon.
On Friday, the Balochistan High Court, too, ordered the quashing of all five cases registered against him in the province.
