JIT recorded statements of three PTI leaders in Imran Khan assassination attempt case

The joint investigation team (JIT), formed to inquire into the attack on Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan in Wazirabad, Wednesday recorded the statements of three PTI leaders including a lady provincial minister.
It was learnt that the statements of Provincial Minister Dr Yasmin Rashid, Zubair Khan Niazi and Umar Farooq had been recorded by the JIT.
Zubair Niazi’s application at Wazirabad police station was also made part of the investigation.
The JIT will write a letter again to invite other PTI leaders so that investigation into the said case could be completed as soon as possible and the report could be sent to the government.
A polygraph test of the accused in the case was also be carried out on Wednesday.
