ECP announces verdict in plea seeking disqualification of PPP Faryal Talpur

The Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) Wednesday rejected a petition for the disqualification of Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) MPA Faryal Talpur.
The ECP pronounced the reserved judgement on the eligibility of Faryal Talpur.
The judgement had been reserved on October 27 last after the completion of arguments by both sides.
It is to be noted here that the petition for the disqualification of Faryal Talpur had been submitted to the ECP by two members of the Sindh Assembly.
Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) MPAs including Arsalan Taj and Rabia Azfar were the petitioners.
