Election Commission of Pakistan is an incompetent institution: Speaker NA Ayaz Sadiq

ISLAMABAD: Speaker National Assembly Ayaz Sadiq criticized the ECP and said that ECP is an incompetent institution. ECP has no capability to conduct free and fair election. While addressing the media, Ayaz said he had already suffered at the hands of the institution’s irresponsibility once and now the election commission would bear the consequences of its own incompetence this time. Ayaz further said that election commission is incompetent and corrupt. "Is it the ECP's incompetence or mal intention on their part to send the case to election tribunal without seeking my point of view?" Ayaz Sadiq questioned. On the other hand, ECP spokesperson said that Ayaz criticism is baseless. ECP is an independent institution and fully aware of its responsibilities.
