High flood warning issued for River Chenab

SIALKOT: The local flood department Monday issued high flood warning for River Chenab during the next two, three days. An official told APP that after heavy Monsoon spell, River Chenab flowing with medium flood.
He said that up-stream has been recorded as 201,878 cusics while down-stream recorded 168,278 cusics in River Chenab at Headmarala.He said that high flood has been recorded at River Jammu Tavee where up-stream flow has reached 31,532 cusics of water.
He said that water level at River Munawwar Tavee recorded as 8,372 cusics.He said that Nullah Daik was flowing in medium flood with 16,588 cusics of water while remaining all nullahs in Sialkot district were flowing in normal position.
