Asad Qaisar submits papers for NA Speaker slot

The process of submitting nomination papers for the elections of new speaker and deputy speaker of National Assembly has started.
PTI candidate Asad Qaiser submitted his nomination papers for the slot of the speaker at the national assembly secretariat in Islamabad on Monday.
Khurshid Shah and Asad Mehmoud, the joint candidates of the opposition for the slot of speaker and deputy speaker have also taken their nomination papers from the national assembly secretariat.
The elections on the two seats will be held on Wednesday.
