Chinese Foreign Ministry reacts over Pakistani leader’s remarks on CPEC

The Chinese Foreign Ministry has welcomed the statement of the Prime Minister of Pakistan Shahbaz Sharif regarding the Pak-China Economic Corridor (CPEC).
According to a statement issued by the Chinese Foreign Ministry, Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif's remarks regarding CPEC have been noted and his remarks on CPEC are highly appreciated.
The Chinese Foreign Ministry says that CPEC has played an important role in Pakistan's economic development since its inception and has improved the living standards of the people of Pakistan.
