United Nation Secretary-General Antonio Guterres says there is no military solution to the conflict of Syria.
Speaking to a special meeting of the UN Security Council, he said the Middle East is in chaos and the Cold War is back with a vengeance.
He urged countries to act responsibly in these dangerous circumstances.
The U.S. ambassador to the United Nations, Nikki Haley, said President Donald Trump has not yet made a decision about possible actions in Syria.
Russia's U.N. Ambassador Vassily Nebenzia insisted that there is no credible confirmation of toxic substance use in Douma.
