Indian Prime Minister to visit Pakistan: Foreign Office

ISLAMABAD: Foreign Office Spokesperson Nafees Zikria claimed that Indian PM Narendra Modi would visit Pakistan in December current year.
While giving weekly press briefing here at today (Thursday) in Islamabad, he said that investigation is underway from arrested RAW agent and some other suspects have been arrested on the identification of Kulbhoshan Yadav.
Talking about Pak-Iran ties, Nafess made it clear that both countries have close and cordial relations while Iran has assured Pakistan that no one would be allowed to use its territory against Pakistan.
FO Spokesperson further added that Pakistan has issued directives to its citizens to avoid unnecessary travel of Iraq, Libya, Yemen and Syria due to security concerns.
Talking about Afghan peace process, he elaborated that Pakistan wants to see peaceful Afghanistan while Pakistan has always played a positive role in peace process and would continue this role in future.
Indian PM would visit Pakistan in December while Foreign Secretaries meeting would also be held soon and both countries are in contact with each other to finalize the dates of dialogues.
Nafees also expressed his grief over the martyrdom of four innocent Kashmiris in Handwara, area of occupied Kashmir saying that Pakistan would continue to support the right of self-determination of Kashmiris.
