Significant rise in petroleum prices likely by federal government

ISLAMABAD – Prices of petroleum products are likely to be increased by Rs 7per liter from December 16.

According to a summary sent to the government regarding the increase in POLproducts, the Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) has proposed anincrease of Rs 7 per litre in the price of high-speed diesel and Rs 5 perlitre in petrol rate.

The new prices of POL products will be announced after approval by PrimeMinister Imran Khan.
