BAHAWALPUR – The Chief of Army Staff (COAS), General Qamar Javed Bajwavisited Headquarters Bahawalpur Corps on Wednesday.

The army chief was given detailed briefing by the commander Bahawalpurcorps on operational preparedness of the formation.

The COAS appreciated the corps for keeping themselves well prepared for theresponse against any threat on eastern border as per assigned tasks.

He said that our commitments in sub-conventional combat have not loweredour attention for response to the conventional threat rather it hasenhanced our confidence and made us battle hardened.
