Saudi Prince called on President, PM Imran Khan

ISLAMABAD – President Dr. Arif Alvi has said that Pakistan greatly valuesits close fraternal and brotherly relations with Saudi Arabia and desirousof further enhancing these relations in all fields.

He was talking to Governor of Tabuk, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia Prince FahadBin Sultan Bin Abdulaziz Al-Saud in Islamabad on Monday.

The President emphasized that recent leadership level interactions willfurther cement the relations between the two countries. He expressedsatisfaction over the accelerating trade and investment relations. Heunderscored that Pakistan remains committed to the protection of HarmainSharifain.

The President stated that Pakistani expatriates are making valuablecontributions in the progress and development of Saudi Arabia. He addedthat Pakistani community can play an important role in Vision 2030 projects.

Prince Fahad Bin Sultan Bin Abdulaziz Al-Saud, on the occasion, said thepeople and Government of Saudi Arabia hold Pakistan in very high esteem. Hefurther said that strong brotherly relations which exist between the twocountries are mainly because of close people-to-people contact and theservices and role of Pakistani community in the progress and development ofSaudi Arabia.

He hoped that the existing brotherly relations between the two countrieswill further grow in future.

Later, Governor Tabuk province of Saudi Arabia Prince Fahad Bin Sultan BinAbdulaziz called on Prime Minister Imran Khan in Islamabad on Monday anddiscussed bilateral relations. Defense Minister Pervez Khattak and theforeign secretary were also present on the occasion.
