*RAWALPINDI – Saudi Arabia Tabuk province Governor Prince Fahad Bin SultanBin Abdulaziz called on Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Qamar JavedBajwa on Monday.*
According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), matters of mutualinterests including regional security situation came under discussionduring the meeting held at General Headquarters in Rawalpindi.
Saudi Arabia Crown Prince Mohammad Bin Salman Al Saud is set to visitPakistan in a few weeks and announce an investment amounting to 15 billiondollars on behalf of the Saudi Arabian government.
It was reported that a date for Mohammad Bin Salman Al Saud’s visit wasbeing finalised.
A petrochemical complex would be built from Saudi Arabia’s investment inGwadar and a memorandum of understanding will be signed in this regard.
It also said the kingdom was likely to hand Pakistan another one billionrupees for balance of payment purpose. The Arab country already has givenPakistan $2 billion out of the promised $3 billion.
Earlier, a Saudi delegation headed by Saudi Minister for Energy, Industryand Minerals Khalid Bin Abdul Aziz D Al Falih arrived in Gwadar on Saturdayto inspect the land allocated for a proposed oil refinery.
