President Arif Alvi gives November 9 as General Elections date in Pakistan

The President of the country, Dr. Arif Alvi, has recommended November 6th as the date for general elections throughout the country.
President Arif Alvi has written a letter to Chief Election Commissioner Sikander Sultan Raja, in which he stated that he dissolved the National Assembly on August 9th on the advice of the Prime Minister.
The letter states that it is the President's prerogative to set a date for general elections within 90 days, and Chief Election Commissioner has been invited for a meeting to fulfill constitutional responsibilities and establish a procedure to enforce the constitution and its directives.
According to the text of the President's letter, the Chief Election Commissioner responded to the contrary, asserting that it is the Election Commission's prerogative and that the National Assembly and provincial assemblies are to strengthen the federation
