India's RAW found involved in recent wave of terrorism in Pakistan

On Wednesday, Karachi's top police official, Additional Inspector General Khadim Hussain Rind, expressed suspicions regarding the potential involvement of India's intelligence agency, RAW, in a tragic incident. The incident in question unfolded in Karachi's Gulistan-e-Johar area the previous night, where Ziaur Rehman, a 45-year-old cleric who served as the Mohtamim of Jamia Masjid Abu Bakar, fell victim to a fatal shooting.
The unfortunate event occurred as Ziaur Rehman was strolling within a park near his residence, located in close proximity to the FBR Office in Johar's Block-14. Two assailants, riding a motorcycle, approached him, and in a shocking act of violence, they shot and critically injured him before making a swift escape. Despite being rushed to a hospital for immediate medical attention, Ziaur Rehman succumbed to his injuries, marking a tragic loss for the community.
Sheikh Zia ur Rahman, the deceased cleric, held a significant role as the administrator of Jamia Abu Bakr Madrassah, a seminary situated in Gulshan's Block 5.
Karachi's police chief, Khadim Hussain Rind, promptly categorized this incident as an act of terrorism, fearing its potential to disrupt the city's law and order, especially with the approaching Rabiul Awwal observance. In response to this grave situation, Rind issued directives for an inquiry led by the DIG East and immediate apprehension of the culprits.
Moreover, the Karachi police's Counter-Terrorism Department (CTD) had gathered crucial pieces of evidence from the crime scene. Preliminary investigations hinted at the possible involvement of a neighboring country's clandestine agency, RAW. The collection of seven 9mm pistol casings and three 30-bore pistol casings provided valuable leads for the ongoing investigation, raising concerns about international implications in this tragic event
