India gives a setback to Israel

India voted in favor of the resolution presented in the United Nations General Assembly, condemning Israeli settlements in the occupied Palestinian territories, including activities labeled as colonization.
According to reports, the resolution, brought forward by the UN Committee on Special Political and Decolonization Affairs, received 145 votes in favor, 7 against (including the United States, Canada, Hungary, Israel, Marshall Islands, Federated States of Micronesia, and Nauru), with 8 abstentions.
The agreement, which addresses activities in the occupied Palestinian and Syrian territories, condemns colonization efforts, land seizures, and activities disrupting the economy in these regions.
