Australian High Commissioner called on COAS General Bajwa at GHQ

RAWALPINDI – Australian High Commissioner HE Dr Geoffrey Shaw called on Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Qamar Javed Bajwa at GHQ on Wednesday.
According to the press release issued by Inter-Service Public Realtion (ISPR), the matters of mutual interest including bilateral cooperation and regional security were discussed during the meeting.
A day earlier, Iranian Ambassador to Pakistan Mehdi Honardoost link paid a farewell call on COAS General Qamar Javed Bajwa at GHQ.
According to a press release issued by the ISPR, COAS thanked the ambassador for his services in Pakistan and acknowledged his contributions towards improving Pak-Iran relations.
The visiting dignitary also appreciated the COAS for contributions of Pak Army towards regional peace and stability and for efforts in making Pak-Iran border of peace.
On November 12, Lieutenant General You Haitao, Deputy Commander of Chinese People’s Liberation Army, had called on Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Qamar Javed Bajwa at GHQ .
