Full Court reference on demise of former SC judges held

A full court reference on the sad demise of former judges of the Supreme Court was held in Islamabad on Tuesday.
The reference was held in honor of former chief justices of Supreme Court late Justice Sajjad Ali Shah, late Justice Ajmal Mian and apex court's judges late Justice Mukhtar Ahmed Junejo and late Justice Hamid Ali Mirza.
Speaking on the occasion, Chief Justice of Pakistan Justice Saqib Nisar said the apex court has gained back the trust of people after decades of sacrifices and determination.
He said we have achieved this goal through the strength of the Bench and the Bar, Legislature and the Executive in understanding importance of the independent functioning of all three pillars of the State.
