160 people killed in 7.3 magnitude quake in border areas between Iran, Iraq

One hundred and sixty people have been killed and over one thousand injured in a powerful 7.3 magnitude earthquake along the border between Iran and Iraq.
The head of Iran’s emergency organization said one hundred twenty nine people have been killed and over one thousand injured in the earthquake on Iranian side.
Iraqi officials reported over thirty deaths in Sulaimaniyah province with many more injured. The officials said the figures would be updated.
According to reports, the quake and its aftershocks have been felt in many Iranian provinces as well as other regional countries including Turkey, Kuwait, Armenia, Jordan, Lebanon, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, and Bahrain.
