Punjab Food Authority seals four factories in Lahore

The Punjab Food Authority has sealed four factories and confiscated over sixty-eight tonnes of adulterated food in a grand operation in Lahore today.
PFA Director General retd Captain Muhammad Usman who led the operation told newsmen that juice and bottle factories were sealed for using substandard raw ingredients in their production. He said that spurious juices and soft drinks were being prepared to supply in the market during Ramazan .
The DG said that crackdown would continue on adulteration mafia as directed by Punjab Chief Minister Sardar Usman Buzdar.
