PM making efforts to ensure supremacy of merit in country: Dr. Firdous

Special Assistant to Prime Minister on Information and Broadcasting Dr. Firdous Ashiq Awan has said that Prime Minister Imran Khan is fighting for the rights of downtrodden segments of society.
Addressing a ceremony in Sialkot this evening, she said that the Prime Minister is making concerted efforts to ensure supremacy of merit in the country.
She said that a New Local Government System has been introduced in the province which will ensure devolution of power to the grass-root level. She said that new local government system is the first step towards creation of a new Pakistan.
She said that this new system will play a compelling role in resolving people's issues at their doorstep.
