People of IOK vow to continue their peaceful struggle until freedom: Masood

ISLAMABAD: Azad Jammu and Kashmir President Sardar Masood Khan says the people of Indian occupied Kashmir have vowed to continue their peaceful struggle until they get their freedom.

Addressing a gathering of overseas Kashmiris and Pakistanis in New York, he said Kashmir is not a bilateral issue, as projected by India, but a trilateral dispute between Pakistan, India and the people of Jammu and Kashmir.

Masood Khan said it is also an international dispute that is to be settled in accordance with the UN Security Council resolutions, which calls for a plebiscite to ascertain the political aspirations of Kashmiris people.

He urged the international community, especially the United Nations Security Council, to take cognizance of the grave security and human rights situation in the Occupied Valley. APP
