AJK PM says Federal govt’s support contributed to development infrastructure

ISLAMABAD: Azad Jammu and Kashmir Prime Minister Raja Farooq Haider Khan says Federal government’s generous and timely support has significantly contributed to development of basic infrastructure in the state.

Presiding over a meeting of Works and Highways Department in Islamabad today (Saturday), he expressed profound gratitude to Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi for including mega projects like Leepa, Kahori tunnels, Surgon-Jalkhad bypass and Shounter-Jaglot road in the Federal Annual Development Program.

Farooq Haider said historic work has been done in previous two years under AJK Highways. He said at present work on mega projects is underway at a cost of forty seven billion rupees.

The AJK Prime Minister said the state government would construct Authmuqam to Kail road with its own resources at estimated cost of over one billion rupees. APP
