Int’l media supported Pakistan's narrative on Pulwama incident: Information Minister

Information Minister Chaudhry Fawad Hussain inaugurated bureau office of Turkish News Agency Anadolu in Islamabad on Tuesday evening.

Speaking on the occasion, he said Pakistan is pursuing a media friendly policy and wants more presence of international media in the country.

The Minister said national and international media supported the Pakistani narrative over Pulwama incident and situation in Kashmir through a responsible journalism.

He said it is the power of media that the international community acknowledged Pakistani narrative, while India had to face isolation. 

The Minister said relationship between Pakistan and Turkey has historic significance when Muslims of the subcontinent had supported the people of Turkey.

He said Pakistan has included Turkey in five countries, whose citizens can be given visa free entry.

He said the new visa policy is aimed at opening Pakistan for the outside world. He said Prime Minister Imran Khan is going to announce new visa policy on Thursday.

He said in the next phase 55 more countries will be given visa facilities at the airport.
