ISLAMABAD - Less than 24-hours left when US, UK, and France will make move to list terror outfit Jaish-e-Mohammad (JeM) chief Masood Azhar a UN-designated terrorist in the United Nation Security Council (UNSC).
After the Pulwama attack, France, UK and US had moved the proposal to list Masood Azhar as UN-designated terrorist under the 1267 Al Qaeda Sanctions Committee on February 27.
Following the Pulwama attack, whose responsibility was taken by terror outfit JeM, India once again approached the international community to play its bid in order to ban Masood Azhar and list him as UN-designated terrorist.
However, the only hurdle which has resisted the UNSC to list Masood Azhar has been China's veto power using which it has always blocked the move, in order to support its all-weather ally Pakistan.
Therefore, it is going to be a crucial day to see whether China takes a parallel step along with US, UK, and France to list Masood Azhar as a UN-designated terrorist.
