Anti-Polio campaign to start in Punjab from March 14 till 16

LAHORE: Three-day Anti-Polio campaign is going to be started in Punjab from March 14. The Polio campaign will continue till March 16.

 

As per details, Advisor to Chief Minister Punjab on Health Khawaja Salman Raffique was addressing a press conference in Lahore. He said that 10.8 million children of below five years of age will be administered polio drops in 3,550 union councils across the Punjab.

 

Talking about the security arrangements, he made it clear that DCOs and DPOs of all the districts have been directed to make fool proof security arrangements according to the National Action Plan for polio.

 

He added that Punjab is taking effective steps for the eradication of Polio and with the help of effective polio campaign Punjab has succeeded to control polio.
