Welfare of poor, vulnerable segments of society focus of Govt policies: Shibli July 13, 2020

ISLAMABAD-Minister for Information and Broadcasting Shibli Faraz has said that welfare of the poor and vulnerable segments of the society is the focus of Prime Minister Imran Khan’s policies.
Addressing a news conference in Islamabad, he urged the resourceful people to take full advantage of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf government’s policy as they would not be asked about their source of investment in the construction sector till December.
Shibli Faraz said announcement of the historic package for the construction industry is a timely step as the sector has the potential to lift the entire economy.
He said for the removal of impediments in the house building process, a one-window operation system has been devised to reduce the time required for clearance of documents.
The Minister said under the new housing policy, the commercial banks have been issued directives to allocate 5 per cent of their lending portfolio for the construction industry.
