US arms sales to Taiwan

The Chinese Military expressed strong dissatisfaction with and resolute opposition to the U.S. State department's approval of a plan to sell weapons worth about 2.22 billion U.S. Dollars to Taiwan .
Spokesman for China's Ministry of National Defense "Wu Qian" said the Chinese Military has lodged solemn representations with the U.S. Side.
He said Taiwan is a part of China. And Taiwan question is a domestic affair within China.
China's firm opposition to U.S. Arms sales to Taiwan is clear and consistent.
