ISLAMABAD - Both Maryam and Nawaz, after clearance of immigration process were taken into custody by the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) officials present at the airport. The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) officials took their passports into possession.
Both Nawaz and Maryam will be shifted to Sahala Resthouse.
Earlier, strict security arrangements had been made at the airport, which was completely sealed for visitors, only passengers with valid air tickets were allowed inside the airport.
A special helicopter is on standby at New Islamabad Airport. It will take them to old airport in Rawalpindi where they will be taken to Sahala Resthouse.
On Saturday morning, they will be produced before the accountability court.
