UAE Ambassador to Islamabad excellent gesture for a Pakistani woman fruit vendor

ISLAMABAD - A woman fruit vendor in Pakistan got a surprise customer - it was none other than the UAE ambassador to Pakistan.

Earlier, Jalal Sherazi, speaker of the House at Provincial Youth Assembly, detailed the fruit vendor's plight of selling fruits because her husband had passed away. The tweet read: "She is Yasmeen, she has three daughters and a son studying in class 2 and her husband died. As she has no other option, she is struggling to feed her kids."

Since his tweet came out, many Twitter users expressed their interest in helping Yasmeen and her children out.

The tweet was noticed by the UAE Embassy in Islamabad.

And the UAE ambassador to Pakistan, Hamad Alzaabi, decided to pay a visit to the fruit vendor and even took some photos with her at her stall. In a tweet by the embassy's official Twitter handle, Alzaabi said that Yasmeen is a "great example of Pakistani women".
