ISLAMABAD: Pakistan has to face a loss of $14 billions due to lack of dams. Pakistan will have to build dams to avoid loss.

 

As per details, it is revealed by panel of international experts on downstream Kotri water releases, which has increased sea intrusion into the coastal area of Pakistan.

 

The international expert conducted a study regarding the coastal areas of Pakistan.

 

Senator Karim Ahmad Khawaja chaired a meeting of the sub-committee on planning, development and reforms. The committee was briefed by Indus River System Authority (IRSA) Chairman Rao Irshad.

 

He said that 30maf water is discharging into the sea during the flood season, causing a loss of $14 billion annually to the country.
