Pakistan will not send its ground forces to any country despite being part of 34 nation military alliance

ISLAMABAD: Advisor to PM Nawaz on foreign affairs Sartaj Aziz made it clear that Saudi Arabia has not asked for ground forces for 34 nation military alliance and Pakistan will not send its forces to any country.

 

As per details, Awais Lagari chaired a meeting of National Assembly Committee on foreign affairs. Committee was briefed by Sartaj Aziz regarding the Pakistan stance over 34 nation military alliance.

 

Sartaj said that it is not the foreign policy of Pakistan to send ground force in any country. However, Pakistan will participate in sharing intelligence with Saudi Arabia and provide ammunition for the eradication of terrorism.

 

He further added that OIC summit will start from 16 January in which Pakistan will present its stance over Iran-Saudi dispute.

 

Pakistan wants to see peace in Middle East and Iran-Saudi tussle should be resolved peacefully. Sartaj stated.
