Country witnesses increase in exports last month: PM

Prime Minister Imran Khan has said that economic stabilization measures taken by the government are now showing positive results.
In a tweet, he said exports of the country during the one month of January this year are rising whereas imports are scaling down as compared to January last year leading to one billion dollars reduction in trade deficit.
The Prime Minister said that deficit in services trade also down by eight hundred million and Overseas Pakistanis' remittances showed upward trend by twelve point two percent from July 2018 to Jan 2019 as compared to same period in the last year.
The Prime Minister said the clear improvement in our external accounts index is a proof of success of our economic policies.
