PMLN’s Lodhran victory a response of public over false cases: Nawaz

ISLAMABAD: Former prime minister Nawaz Sharif has said that the victory of ruling Pakistan Nuslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) in NA-154 Lodhran was a response of the public to the false cases against him and his family.
Talking to media after appearing before the accountability court, he said that there wouldn’t be need to file supplementary reference by the National Accountability Bureau (NAB), if the allegations against him were based on truth.
The ex-PM termed the ongoing cases against him ‘victimsation in the name of accountability’, adding that ‘they’ want Nawaz punished one way or the other.APP/AFP
