Pakistan beats India in South Asian Games Hockey final

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan hockey team won Gold Medal by defeating India in South Asian Games hockey final. Pakistani team defeated Indian team by 1-0 in nail-biting final match.
As per details, the final match was played between both team here at Tayebulla Hockey Stadium in Guwahati, India on Friday. When the match started Pakistani team played aggressively and continued attacking on Indian team.
Pakistani team made its first goal against India just before the end of first half of match in the 35th minute. The goal was scored by Awaisur Rehman.
Indian team continued efforts to equal the match but could not succeed in scoring a single goal against Pakistan.
PM Nawaz and Punjab CM Shehbaz Sharif congratulated Pakistan hockey team for its great victory against India.
It is also worthy to mention here that Pakistan hockey team remained unbeaten throughout the South Asian Games.
