Pakistan and Iran agree to open more border points for bilateral trade
QUETTA: Bilateral trade between Iran and Pakistan is likely to be enhanced as Ministry for Trade has sent recommendations to Interior Minister for setting up more points on border for bilateral trade.

 

As per details, both countries have started to take concrete measures for enhancing bilateral trade. Ministry for Trade decided to open more crossing points on Pak-Iran border and the recommendations have been sent to Interior Ministry in this regard.

 

According to the documents, Iran also agreed to open more crossing points on Pak-Iran border. Iran is ready to open 2 points on Gubad, Remdan, Pasheen and Radiq border.

 

Ministry for Trade said that the ban on banking channels in Iran will be ended in June and it will enhance bilateral trade between both countries.

 

Trade Ministry added that the meetings are being held with central bank in this regard while both counties have started their  homework for opening more points at border.
