No ISIS in Pakistan but local militant groups are using the name: Ch. Nisar
ISLAMABAD: Federal Minister for Interior Ch. Nisar made it clear that ISIS has no presence in Pakistan but local militant outfits are using the name of ISIS in terrorist activities.

 

As per details, he was addressing the PML-N workers in Kalar Syedan here at Saturday. He said that seminaries are not means of spreading terrorism but means to stop the menace of terrorism.

 

The consensus has been made regarding the registration of seminaries and an important meeting of Wafaq-ul-Madaras will be called in upcoming days. PM Nawaz and Army Chief Gen. Raheel will also participate in the meeting; Nisar added.

 

He further stated that Intelligence agencies have made 12,000 operations throughout the country but the war against terrorism will continue till the end of last terrorist.

 

He also requested the media to stop the coverage of terrorists and said that media will have to play an active role to win the psychological war against terrorism
