NEW DELHI: India urged US not to give $860 million aid to Pakistan.
India’s External Affairs Minister claimed that such aid will be used in anti-India activities.
Obama administration announced USD 860 million aid for Pakistan last week.
The aid will be used in fight against terrorism and stability of country and it includes $265 million for military hardware.
Kerry said, “The requested funding will support the country’s counter-insurgency missions, and bolster stability, energy access, economic growth and social reform.”
