Turkey appeals to world to recognize Jerusalem as Palestinian capital

Turkey has appealed for the world to recognize East Jerusalem as the capital of Palestinian state.
This was stated by Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu while speaking at OIC Foreign Ministers meeting ahead of the extraordinary OIC summit on Al Qudh Al Sharif in Istanbul on Wednesday.
Foreign Minister Khawaja Muhammad Asif is representing Pakistan in the OIC Foreign Ministers meeting. Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi is in Turkey to attending the OIC summit on the issue.
