Pakistan Army Major makes historic record in 300 years history of Sandhurst 

An officer of Pakistan army has become an instructor at the Royal Military College at Sandhurst, to help train its cadets to fight militants.

Major Uqbah Malik - a graduate of the college - has become the first instructor from Pakistan in Sandhurst’s 300-year history.

He graduated from Sandhurst in 2007 alongside Prince William and reported back to his battalion, the 1st Sindh regiment in Waziristan.

"When you’re in the thick of the bullets, when you see your life in danger and your troops life in danger, the real leadership skill needs to come out and that’s what I think I bring back," Malik said
