KPK government completes geochemical exploration of 70,000 square kilometres

PESHAWAR: Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government has completed regional geochemical exploration covering an area of 70,000 square kilometer in the province.

According to official sources, for the promotion of large scale mining, fifteen exploration blocs of metallic minerals including precious minerals and gemstones have been identified and delinated in District Chitral.

Similarly seven exploration blocs have been identified in Hazara division.

Link roads have also been constructed to provide easy access to the mines.
