KPK government completes geochemical exploration of 70,000 square kilometres

PESHAWAR: Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government has completed regional geochemical exploration covering an area of 70,000 square kilometer in the province.

According to official sources, for the promotion of large scale mining , fifteen exploration blocs of metallic minerals including precious minerals and gemstones have been identified and delinated in District Chitral.

Similarly seven exploration blocs have been identified in Hazara division .

Link roads have also been constructed to provide easy access to the mines.
