MAKKAH - Twenty-five lacs pilgrims have performed Hajj in Makkah.
Radio Pakistan Correspondent Muhammad Akram Khan reports from Makkah that five-day Hajj rituals concluded in Makkah today.
On the last day, pilgrims performed the ritual of throwing seven pebbles each on three pillars resembling the Devils. Then they left Mina before sunset and returned to their residential buildings, after spending two nights there. They performed this ritual easily and comfortably due to the new organization of the Jamarat area and the plan of dispatching pilgrims in groups to the Jamarat facility. Now, the Hujjaj will perform Tawaf-e-Wida before leaving for their respective countries.
Minister for Religious Affairs and Interfaith Harmony Dr Noor-ul-Haq Qadri, in a statement, congratulated pilgrims on completion of Hajj with ease, tranquility and safety. He thanked Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz, Crown Prince Mohammad bin Salman, Saudi Ministry of Hajj and Umrah, and Governor of Makkah for making excellent arrangements.
