Pak army fully supports socio-economic development in affected areas: COAS

ISLAMABAD:Chief of Army Staff, General Qamar Javed Bajwa has said that our vision is peaceful Pakistan and peaceful region and our efforts are geared towards this end.
He expressed these views while interacting with notables of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa including Senators, MNAs, businessmen, lawyers, academia and others in Peshawar.
According to ISPR, the Army Chief shared his candid thoughts about security environment, achievements in the war against terrorism, challenges and way forward with the participants.
The Army Chief hailed the courage and resilience of the people of Pakistan, especially of FATA and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa being major victim of terrorism and said that Pakistan army fully supports socio-economic development in affected areas.
He said it is the time to unitedly keep moving forward towards enduring peace and stability. APP/AFP
