OPC plans to facilitate Pakistani community in 7 European Countries

LAHORE: The Overseas Pakistanis Commission (OPC) will conduct road shows in seven European countries including Italy, Spain, Norway, Belgium, France, Germany and Switzerland.
Purpose of the shows is to sensitise the Pakistanis living in these countries about the OPC working and redress of their grievances related to government agencies of Punjab at their doorsteps, Commissioner OPC Afzaal Bhatti informed the media here on Thursday.
The road shows are being conducted on the instructions of Punjab Chief Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif.
He said that a delegation of OPC Punjab consisting of Vice Chairperson Shaheen Khalid Butt, Commissioner Afzaal Bhatti and Director General Syed Javed Iqbal Bokhari will leave for these countries on Friday.
Afzaal Bhatti said that a large number of Pakistanis are living in these countries and during the road shows, information regarding investment opportunities in Punjab and provincial government's steps to facilitate expatriates would be shared with the Pakistani community. (APP)
